FlipSum – Privacy Policy

Welcome to FlipSum (“the App”). FlipSum is a simple and friendly arithmetic matching game designed for kids, parents, and general users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

By using FlipSum, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you have any questions, please contact us using the information at the end of this document.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 No account required

You do not need to create an account to use FlipSum. We do not ask for your name, address, ID number, or any information that directly identifies you.

1.2 Automatically collected technical data (via third-party services)

To display ads, process in-app purchases, and improve the App, we use third-party services such as Apple and Google AdMob. These services may automatically collect:

• Device model, OS version, language, and region
• Advertising or anonymous identifiers (e.g., IDFA)
• Approximate location (country/city, not precise GPS)
• App usage analytics and crash logs
• Purchase records and transaction receipts (managed by Apple)

These data are collected and processed according to each provider’s privacy policy. We do not build our own database of personal information and we do not attempt to link technical data to real identities.

1.3 Game data stored on your device

The App may store the following data locally on your device:

• Game settings (e.g., sound, timer options)
• Local best scores and gameplay records
• Purchased items such as "Remove Ads" or extra hints

This information remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. If you delete the App or reset your device, this data may be removed.

2. How We Use the Information

• To complete and restore in-app purchases
• To display appropriate ads based on age rating and region
• To detect errors and improve App stability
• To understand general usage trends for balancing and updates (aggregated data only)

We do not create individual user profiles and we do not sell or rent your personal data.

3. Children & Parents

FlipSum is a family-friendly game suitable for children, but the App is designed with parent–child play in mind. We do not ask children to provide sensitive information such as names, addresses, or contact details.

We follow these principles for children’s privacy:

• No accounts, chat features, or social functions
• No email, phone number, or identity required
• All purchases are handled by Apple’s system, where parental controls can be applied
• Ads are chosen to be generally appropriate, but we cannot fully control all ad content

If you are a parent and believe your child has provided identifiable information without permission, contact us and we will assist in deleting or restricting the data when applicable.

4. Ads & Third-Party Services

4.1 Advertising (e.g., Google AdMob)

We use third-party ad networks to display advertisements. These networks may use cookies, advertising IDs, or similar technologies to:

• Measure ad performance
• Prevent fraudulent or invalid activity
• Show more relevant ads where legally permitted

Users in certain regions may see consent dialogs or options to manage ad personalization. Please refer to each provider’s privacy policy for details.

4.2 Additional third-party services

If we add new analytics tools or cloud services in future updates, we will update this policy and provide additional consent options within the App when required.

5. In-App Purchases (IAP)

FlipSum may offer optional in-app purchases such as:

• Remove Ads
• Extra hints or additional game modes

All payments are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your full credit card details or Apple ID credentials. For purchase validation, we only use Apple’s official receipt verification data.

You may manage purchases or restore items in: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions or through the App Store account page.

6. Data Retention & Security

We retain only the data necessary to provide the App’s functions. Most technical data is stored by Apple or ad providers according to their policies.

While we take reasonable steps to protect data, no Internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights such as:

• Requesting access to any information we may hold
• Requesting corrections
• Requesting deletion or restriction of data processing
• Opting out of personalized advertising

Most FlipSum-related data is controlled by Apple or third-party services. You can adjust privacy settings through your device or Apple ID. Deleting the App will also delete local game data.

8. International Data Transfers

Third-party services used by the App may operate servers in different countries. Your data may be transferred and processed outside your jurisdiction in accordance with their privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to new features, legal requirements, or service adjustments. When major changes occur, we will update the “Last updated” date and, when necessary, provide a notice within the App.
